Dan was raised in Cleveland, OH and is a 2000 graduate of The Ohio State University with a marketing degree. In 2009 Dan moved down to the Bluffton/Hilton Head area.

Dan started his career in Banking as a Collections Specialist and has had many different roles in banking including in Business Development, Section Manager, Branch Manager, Commercial Lender, and Market Manager.

Dan, his wife Megan, and daughter Stella currently reside in Bluffton.

Dan attended XINNIX, The Mortgage Academy, in 2021 and is a XINNIX Certified Originator (XCO). Less than 1% of all loan officers in the nation hold this prestigious designation. It reflects extensive training in the mortgage industry, including four core principles of success: knowledge, skills, discipline and ethics.

in 2021 Dan was voted the Top Mortgage Officer for the Best of Bluffton in the Bluffton Today and the Island Packets Best of.
